CGI Solar Solutions has completed the installation and commissioning of a 48kVA hybrid solar power system at The Golf Prince Hotel in Abana, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The project combines a 35.1kWp solar PV array, 60kWh lithium battery storage and hybrid inverter technology to provide the hotel with a more reliable and efficient approach to managing its power needs.

46.8kWp Bifacial Solar Array
A total of 72 × 650W bifacial solar panels were installed as part of the project, providing a combined solar PV capacity of 35.1kWp.
Bifacial solar panels are designed to capture sunlight from both sides of the panel. Depending on factors such as installation conditions and the reflectivity of the surrounding surface, this technology can help maximise energy generation from the available solar array.

60kWh Lithium Battery Storage
The system also includes 60kWh of lithium battery storage, providing the hotel with a substantial energy reserve for periods when solar generation is reduced or additional stored energy is required.
Battery storage is an important part of a hybrid solar system because it allows available solar energy to be stored and used when needed. This gives commercial facilities greater flexibility in managing their electricity throughout the day.

48kVA Hybrid Inverter
